Summer Workshops
I have four workshops available during the summer this year, all focusing on having FUN and learning something new. These workshops are open to students and none-students alike. NO previous experience is required and all necessary props will be available to borrow in each workshop.

Workshop 1 - Wednesday 26th July - Saidi
In this workshop we will explore the world of Saidi (stick dance), an very old style of belly dance which is strong and powerful and adored by me. Learn how to manipulate the stick, learn some tricks and how to incorporate it into your dance.
Workshop 2 - Wednesday 2nd August - Drum Solos
Drum solos are to be found everywhere in belly dance but can seem quite scary. Learn how to interpret the drums, and how you can create your very own solo.

Workshop 3 - Wednesday 16th August - Baladi
Baladi is a MUST for all belly dancers. Found everywhere in Egypt it must be acknowledged. Explore this all-important style of belly dance and in the process learn about some of the instruments played too.

It can be difficult when you're learning belly dance to know what to do with your arms. Learn how to create lovely shapes with them without going too mad!
