I am a local belly dance teacher and artist based in Preston, Lancashire. I became a teacher after completing the JWAAD Safe Teaching Course in 2009.
I offer weekly dance classes in Preston, Out-of-House Beginner Starter Courses, Hen Parties, private tuition, birthday parties for adults and children, workshops for schools and community groups, Hen parties, Summer Workshops, and educational talks for W.I. and societies. I can also supply performances for your special events.
I organize two haflas a year where anyone (dancer or non-dancer) may experience belly dance in a relaxed, party atmosphere.
I also like to organize other events too, when the mood hits me. My greatest event and one in which I am very proud, was Sequins On My Balcony which occurred on 4th July 2015. It was the first time | had attempted anything like this, along with a dance friend of mine (and my teacher), and it was all in aid of charity. The event was a huge success and we managed to raise over £500 for Just Because.
I can supply a special belly dance birthday cake to add that special something to your event, and I have also designed a cross stitch card which can tailored in the colours that you like.
Although I live near Preston, I am willing to travel. Travel costs may be incurred, but you will receive a full breakdown for any quote, and I am open to negotiation.
My teaching and performances are accessible to all, and are appropriate for families.
