Terms and Conditions for weekly Belly dance classes with Sarah
Personal information
The personal information requested on the registration form or via online booking is kept in the strictest confidence and is not passed on to third parties. You will only be contacted in case of emergency, class cancellation or to inform you of any upcoming events.
Attendance
If there are more students than room available in the venue, priority will be given to:
If you are booked onto a course and are unable to attend it may not be possible for you to catch up on the missed weeks' class. N.B. Any new moves will be taught over the consecutive weeks but may not be broken down as much.
Payment and Cancellations
Students
These classes are open for students aged 14 years and older. However, students aged under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Students agree that they will arrive for class early so they can attend the warm up which is done for their benefit, not only to prepare them for the lesson but also to warm their body in preparation for the class.
Students who do not arrive on time may not be allowed to join in.
Students agree to participate in the cool down and stretches at the end of the class.
If any medical condition develops which might affect your ability to dance (i.e heart condition, high blood pressure, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Dizziness or Fainting, Asthma, Arthritis or muscular pain) the student will advise me as soon as possible.
All new students should print and complete the Registration Form and bring this along to the first lesson.
Health and Safety
Belly dance is a physical activity and involves exercise and sometimes strenuous movement. For Health and Safety reasons should you be any doubt about your fitness and suitability to attend these classes, please consult your doctor. By registering and attending classes you agree that the instructor is not held accountable for any injuries which may occur whilst following the movements and instuctions throughout the class, or for any injury which may occur outside class situations.

- Students who have made payment in advance
- Students who have contacted me in advance to say they are attending class
- Regular attendees

Payment and Cancellations
- If you have paid for a full course in advance, please retain your receipt as proof of payment and bring to the first lesson.
- If you have paid for a course in advance there are strictly no refunds available
- If you have paid for a course in advance and are unable to attend all the classes for any reason I cannot teach these lessons again. However, I have allowed some revision time over the six weeks.
- If I am unable to teach for any reason, due to family illness, family emergency, room unavailability, I shall cancel the class. If I have to cancel the lesson, I shall attempt to resume the remainder of the course from the following week (and offer an extra class to do so at no extra cost) or offer a partial refund.
